Chilled out wedding on a cider farm in Shropshire

This was one of those weddings that was right up my street……it had a camp fire, a cider farm, den building and an assortment of curiosities. When I had met with them before the wedding, Alun had one job to do, to make these, which were going to be the table centre peices……let’s just say he did his job and they looked flipping amazing!
Now I might be a Staffordshire wedding photographer, but one of the bit’s I enjoy most about this so called work, is getting to travel all over the UK seeing different places.
For the wedding of Kate and Alun I got to head over into Shropshire. The ceremony was at the Ludlow Mascall Centre – which was the venues first wedding, and was conducted by Kate’s aunt – who had been given special permission to do so.

Black wedding dress.

Kate wore a black dress that she had designed herself and had made by bespoke dress designer, Hannah Wilkins Webb. After the service we went ahead to Mahorall Cider Farm for some photos – the orchard and outbuildings were the perfect backdrop.
The food was all laid on and provided by Kate and Alun, who had created a very detailed list for friends and family who helped in getting it all ready. Seeing everyone work together to achieve this was really something special.
After the food guests had chance to head to their tents or play alternative fairground games that included zap a zombie and throwing eye-balls into buckets! Kate even organised den building which went down well with the kids. It was a real, chilled out, family occasion.
