Hidden gem Staffordshire wedding with Charlotte + Curtis.

Biddulph Old Hall is an historic residence nestled in the Staffordshire Moorlands and is a paradise of woodland scenery with intriguing artistic history. It is the historic home of the Biddulph family who were settled in the area from the 1400s. Hidden away this beautiful venue is the perfect location for an intimate wedding. The crumbling old stone walls, snug, quaint rooms and stunning roses in the gardens made for some fantastic photos when I was there for the wedding of Charlotte and Curtis.

Luckily the sun shone, showing the gardens, flowers and historic architecture off to their very best. Charlotte and Curtis were joined by their very closest friends and family for an intimate wedding at Biddulph Old Hall . For the past twenty years it has been privately owned and lovingly restored to it’s former glory, making it one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the pleasure of taking wedding photos at. Being a Staffordshire wedding photographer I’m always surprised when I get to join a couple on their wedding day, somewhere I’ve never been before, but so close to where I live.

The couple opted for just a couple of hours photography, enough to capture some photos of the two of them, as well as the all important family and friend group photos. My wedding photography packages don’t dictate to you when I should start or finish taking photos on your wedding day, instead I’ve kept it simple and flexible so you can chose to have photography coverage of whatever is important to you. And that’s exactly what this newly wed pair did, having a budget, small wedding or informal wedding day, doesn’t mean you should compromise on your photos, get in touch with me to talk some more!
