Wedding at Consall Hall Gardens.
To say that the grounds at Consall Hall in Staffordshire are huge is an understatement! Couples can have an indoor or outdoor ceremony and then head off into the sprawling gardens – perfect for some alone time with your new husband or wife.
Natural, documentary wedding photographer.
It goes without saying that a wedding day is a lot about the couple getting married! But what about those all those guests that you have invited along to share your special day? Even if you are having a small wedding and only a handful of your nearest and dearest, those people are there with you sharing your day – which as day’s go, is a pretty big deal!
When I’m at your wedding taking photos I want to document the day. This involves capturing lot’s of different things that are happening that will make your day what it is. They might be big things like if one of you forgets the rings, (yes, this happened to a bride at one of my weddings and yes I got a photo of the moment she realised), it might be a subtle hand reaching out to reassure you kind of moment or it might even be a moment that doesn’t actually involve either of you!
A lot of this ‘documenting’ that I am doing with my cameras, involves seeing things that others probably wouldn’t notice and taking a photo without anyone realising.- This is how I can get pictures full of feeling.
That’s why I love this image.
This couple had a young baby with them and during the day I had taken other photos of them with their little one. Weddings are long days especially when you are looking after a little person!
I actually really like this because it’s a moment between just the two of them.
A couple of seconds of intimacy where everything stood still for that moment of togetherness.
